John Battalino
John Battalino is a retired Neurologist & Chief Medical Officer for the State of California. He is honored to be active in the Poetic Justice Project. He served as president of the San Luis Obispo Little Theatre in 1989 and was instrumental in securing the present downtown location. John also served as president of the Centerpoint Theatre Group from 1992 to 1996. John has acted, directed and designed shows for most of the theatre groups on the Central Coast for the past 25 years. He was honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Luis Obispo Little Theatre in 2007.
John performs regularly with the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts, the Central Coast's resident professional theatre company.
